Description
The Salesianum awaits guests in the renewed Bíró-Giczey house on more that 1000 m2 and in four flours. During the guide you can get known the story of the priest of Halimba, who grew herbs, you can admire the baroque rooms with beautiful frescos and you can visit the seasonal exhibitions. Do not miss visiting the rooms, the voices and the objects of liturgy.

Learn about the everyday work of a violin maker, participate in candle dipping activities, or in handicraft activities!
The price includes the guide. Languages: Hungarian, German, English. There is audioguide on the previous languages, also. Previous registration for groups is needed.
The ground flour of the Bíró-Giczey house was built on the initiation of Márton Padányi Bíró, the first flour was built in 1722 on the order of canon Giczey István. Until spring of 2005 the National Park Directory of Upper Balaton operated here. From 2011 this building hosts the tourist centre.
