The Neoclassic Late Baroque provostal castle of the chapter of Nagyvárad was built in 1820. The typical round, slim tower with four window levels can be noticed from afar, which is covered with a Baroque-like tinplated cap. The main facade has a projection with an arched drip-stone under the square-ended windows. The levels are separated by strong cornices running around the outside of the building. The reconstruction of the building was completed in 2008.
