The village of Szajol lies on the left bank of the Tisza River, between Szolnok and Törökszentmiklós divided in two parts by Highway No. 4 and has excellent transport links both by road and rail. An impressive village hall completed in 1999, and a Roman Catholic church flank its main square named Square of Roses. On the north the village is bordered on the Tisza River and its long, meandering backwater with its groves ideal for walks of recreation in the summer heat and also offering excellent... tovább angling.
