Répceszemere
About

In Roman times the famous Apollinar legion was stationed here. After the Hungarian Conquest it became home to the Szemere nation. The village was first mentioned in documents in 1265 and this nobie village flourished in the seventeenth century. It received marketholding rights and trade guilds were formed. In the early 20th century it was one of the richest villages in the area and it owned a cheese factory. Catholic church, Lutheran House of worship and bell-tower as well as historical country-... tovább and farmer houses can be found in the village.
