The village is located on a high loess wall on the west bank of the Danube, roughly in the middle of its Hungarian stretch, on the edge of Mezőföld. The part of the village along the Danube, called Nagy Island, has become a nature conservation area. There is an Ecotourist Centre in the heart of the village which opened in 2007 and it’s offering many opportunities for fishing, hiking, concerts, exhibitions and its ideal for the nature-lovers too. The Danube has started to regain its original... tovább beauty; the settlement has turned into a more and more attractive holiday resort.
