Description

The castle was built 1762 to 1766 summer residence of Count Ferenc Antal Lamberg's family. The castle provides lodgings for the city's history exhibition and the Ezerjó cellar gallery, where the visitor can get to know the wine region's past and present. The Sándor Wekerle exhibitions keeps the memory of the late prime minister. In the memorial room dedicated to Dr. Ágoston Zimmermann, the renown veterianarian, biologist, Master of Arts and university professor, visitors can see the doctor's exhibited reliquaries. The Vasarely room hold 31 silk-screen prints by the well-known artist.
