Description
It is Mako's most beautiful eclectic building. Built in 1855 by the plans of Ferdinand Koczka as a lodging house. Korona shaped along with the city for over two hundred years. It has been rebuilt in 1905 expanded with a hotel. The saloon of Korona was used for gaiety and for literary events.
There is a statue of its corner about primate Mihály Fátyol. He played in Korona with his band between 1945 and 1979.
Nowadays there is a conference centre in the second floor and a restaurant on the ground floor.
