Accessible: road no: 47. The history of the settlement goes back to 1067, when it was first mentioned in the foundation document of an abbacy. The village had been destroyed several times before the Harruckern and then the Wenckheim families began to develop the area by draining the marshes and establishing Europen level agriculture. The most important sights are the Wenckheim mansion ( operating as a school at present ), the Calvinist and the Catholic curches and the family-tomb of the... tovább e Wenckheims. The village attracts lovers of angling, swimming and water-sports.
