Description
In Hódmezővásárhely the Second World War lasted only one day. The full power of the war reached the town on 8th October in 1944. Many people fled from the soviet troops. The war caused the death of two thousand inhabitants in Vásárhely and ruined the economy. After the soviet troops arrived the people of Vásárhely mut have given them 500 tons of grain.
