||2153 Fót, Vörösmarty tér 2.
This is Hungary's most beautiful Classical palace and its exterior was commissioned by Count Károlyi István and made by Ybl Miklós. The Károlyi family lived in the palace from 1808 until 1945. Since 1957, the building has been a state institute under the name Children's Town. When Count Károlyi László returned home after emigrating, he created the Fót Károlyi Foundation which is for the collection of family cultural treasures and the preservation of future generations. The result of this activity is a furnished gallery which can be visited if previous arrangements are made.
