Besides Csépa, Cibakháza is the only settlement in the Tiszazug with a predominantly Roman Catholic population. Its church was built between 1757 and 1760, in Baroque style. The tower of the listed building comes from 1840 and the two side chapels were added in 1880. Still, it?s the natural values that make the place attractive. The flood area of the Tisza River at Cibakháza forms part of the Middle-Tisza Nature Conservation District, with its characteristic flora and fauna. At the time of the... tovább regulation of the riverbed, a 12 km stretch was cut of and turned into a backwater. Today, it is a paradise for anglers and hikers. Gödör lido is also a popular place with swimmers.
