Accessible: M1 Biatorbágy’s oldest monument is the ruin of the Saint Cross’s Church, which comes from the end of the 11th century. The church named after Mary has also medieval origins. The reformed church was built probably in the 18th century. Adjacent to this stands the Szily-Fáy Castle. Another manorial building is in Biatorbágy the Sándor-Metternich Castle. The one-time railway bridges (the “Viadukt”) remind us to Szilveszter Matuska’s arrant outrage in 1931 and to the great era of the... tovább the Hungarian railway- and bridge building. The old railway bridges were renewed by the local government in 1996, and one of them was as a belvedere reformed.
