Description
The Town Hall in Békécsaba was built in 1873 based on the designs of Sztraka Ernő and Ybl Miklós. The inner courtyard is very beautiful and every summer hosts the Town Hall Evenings program series. In front of the building there is a statue of a large open book which commemorates the year 1332 when the region of Csaba was listed in the papal tithing register.
