Village with around 3500 inhabitants east of Gyöngyös at the foothills of the Mátra. Catholic church founded in the Middle Ages, reconstructed in Baroque style. According to popular belief, the tomb of King Aba Samuel is hidden in one of the cellars of the Wine Museum. Kapásház, an adobe house from the 18th century, ethnographic collection on show. Row of cellars caved in tuff along the way Mátrafüred. Sár Hill is a nature conservation area with botanic and geologic rarities.
